How many people win?
We’ve had thousands of entrants, but only a small percentage are selected as winners. We have many winners each month — your neighbor or family member could also be among them.
What’s included in my prize?
Winners receive a full fine art portrait experience at the studio and a 10” wall portrait with complete artistry ($500 value). This does not include digital files.
Is there any additional cost to me?
There is no obligation to purchase anything beyond your included gift. Many clients fall in love with their portraits and choose to invest in additional artwork, and if you do, your reservation fee or gift value can be applied toward your order.
How much are additional portraits?
Pricing varies by size, finish, and quantity. We offer exquisite hand-painted portraits starting at $14,000 and photographic finishes starting at $500. Each piece is created like original art and priced accordingly. We also offer financing, including no-interest options, to make it easier to invest in what you love most.
How do I know when to schedule my newborn session?
Today you’ll reserve a spot on our due date calendar. Our studio design consultant will contact you as your due date approaches.
What is the best time for a newborn portrait session?
We recommend scheduling within the first 14 days after birth (even if your baby was born early). During this time, babies are still in their super-sleepy phase, making them easier to pose comfortably and safely. This also allows us to capture those curled, cozy positions that won’t last long.
Can I share inspirational pictures I like for the session?
Absolutely! We love seeing what inspires you. While we can’t copy another photographer’s work exactly, we’ll use your ideas to guide a session that reflects your vision in our own fine-art style.
Can I bring anything to the session?
Yes, but please consult with us first. We welcome sentimental items that fit the style and safety of your session. Our own simple wraps and blankets are often best for newborn portraits, as regular clothing can overwhelm their tiny features.
Can I include siblings and my spouse in the session?
Yes — we encourage it. This is a special time for your family, and we love capturing portraits that include parents and siblings.
What should we wear for our portrait session?
Keep it simple and timeless — avoid logos, busy patterns, or large graphics. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident, as it will shine through in your portraits.
Why do I have to pay a refundable reservation fee?
We are an in-demand portrait studio and reserve significant time for each session. The refundable reservation fee ensures we’re booking with committed clients. The deposit is returned at your viewing and ordering appointment.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes. We ask for at least 72 hours’ notice. One reschedule is included; additional reschedules require a new holding deposit.
If I decide not to use my prize, can I get my reservation fee back?
Yes — we will happily refund your reservation fee if you give at least 14 days’ notice before your scheduled session.
Can I gift my session to someone else?
No. Our portrait experiences are tailored to the intended recipient to ensure the highest quality and satisfaction.
